I came up with the concept after observing and putting myself in the shoes of an addict. It inspired me to write this song that night. Telling the story from my perspective first verse and also his in the second verse. I dont know what his story was but I could only imagine what went wrong so I related it to what I went through growing up and how I could of gone down that path. Me personally I was always strong minded and ambitious and from a young age iv seen the effects of crack and its something I would never touch. And shouldn't be glamourised. I planned and directed the video and decided to play both roles in the visual.
